True cost is the price minus what one in excellent condition is listed for today. We do not age that figure, so it flatters very long ownership.

About this bag
The Noé began in 1932 as a bag for carrying champagne bottles, which explains its shape: a deep bucket with a flat base, closed by a leather drawstring threaded around the top. It has since grown into a family. The Petit Noé is a smaller take on the original, and the NéoNoé is a later reinterpretation with a more contemporary finish. Monogram canvas is the classic version, with leather and seasonal editions in the collections too. New, it is sold through Louis Vuitton stores and the brand's website, and at 24S, the only authorised third-party seller. Preloved, the family spans several decades of production, and the asking prices for the original, the Petit Noé and the NéoNoé are best compared separately.
Questions
Where can I buy the Noé new?
Louis Vuitton sells the Noé family in its own stores and on louisvuitton.com, and 24S, owned by LVMH, is the only authorised third-party seller. The New table above shows the boutique reference price with its source and date, and any 24S offer that ships to your country.
What should I look for in a preloved Noé?
Listings are graded New with tags, Excellent, Very good, Good or Fair. The drawstring and the leather around its eyelets take constant strain, so check both for cracking and darkening. Then look at the base corners and the inside of a bag that is open at the top. Dust bag and receipt complete the set.
What drives the resale value of the Noé?
Which member of the family it is comes first: the original, the Petit Noé and the NéoNoé each have their own market. Then material and colour, the condition of the drawstring and its eyelets, and the state of the base. Older pieces are common, so the condition grade explains much of the spread in the Preloved section.
How is the true cost of a Noé calculated here?
True cost equals the best new price in your market minus the expected resale value of an Excellent Noé. We derive that value from the median asking price of Excellent-or-better listings across the EU over 90 days, relative to the German retail reference. It is shown as a three-year total and per year, and hidden when fewer than 10 listings exist.
