About this bag

Think of the Anjou as the reversible version of the Saint Louis: Goyardine canvas on one side, leather on the other, so it can be carried either way out. The open tote shape and the two sizes, PM and GM, follow its sibling, and hand-painted personalisation is offered here too. Goyard sells it new only in its own stores; the New section shows the store price we have recorded, with its source and date, and there is no retailer link. In the preloved market, asking prices reflect the condition of both faces, since the leather side can show scratches while the canvas side shows corner wear, plus colour, size, completeness and any personalisation, which narrows the pool of interested buyers.

Questions

Where is the Goyard Anjou sold new?

Only in Goyard's own stores. It is not available from department stores or online retailers, so there is no shop link here. The New section shows the store price we have recorded for your market, with source and date.

What should I check on a preloved Anjou?

We grade listings New with tags, Excellent, Very good, Good or Fair. Because the Anjou is reversible, inspect both sides: the canvas for cracked or worn corners, the leather for scratches, marks and colour transfer. Check the handles and, where supplied, the pouch. Dust bag and receipt help. The Preloved section lists the cheapest offer per grade.

What drives the resale value of the Anjou?

Condition on both faces is the main factor, because a damaged leather side cannot simply be turned inward. Colour and size follow, then completeness. Personalisation narrows the buyer pool. Compare the retention score here with the Saint Louis page to see how the leather side affects asking prices.

How do you calculate the true cost of an Anjou?

The best new price in your market minus the expected resale value of an Excellent-condition Anjou. We derive that value from the median asking price of Excellent-or-better listings across the EU in the last 90 days, set against the German store price. Shown over three years and per year; asking prices, not sold prices.
