About this bag
John Galliano designed the Saddle for Dior, and it was first shown in 1999. Its asymmetric outline borrows from a riding saddle, and a D-shaped hardware piece carries the CD initials. After years out of the line, it was relaunched in 2018 under Maria Grazia Chiuri. Current versions come in Dior Oblique jacquard canvas or in leather, in several sizes. New, it is sold only in Dior boutiques and through Dior's own online store where it operates, so this page shows the boutique price with its source and date. Preloved, early pieces and current production are traded side by side and priced differently.
